Cancellation policy
Deposit, refund tiers, and how weather + ice conditions affect your trip.
Deposit
A 25% deposit at booking holds your date. The remaining balance is due before the trip — exact timing is confirmed in your booking confirmation email.
Guest-initiated cancellation
The earlier you tell us, the more we can refund. Tier values below are placeholders pending Curtis's final policy — final numbers are confirmed at booking.
Contact us as soon as you know — we'll work with you. Sometimes we can fill a cancelled spot from the waitlist and refund more than the tier above.
Weather + ice conditions
Safety first. If unsafe ice, severe weather, or a guide-safety issue forces a change, we reach out to reschedule at no penalty. We do not run trips on unsafe ice — full stop.
If we cancel for safety, you choose: reschedule for any available date this season, or take a full refund (including deposit). No fine print.
How to cancel
Reply to your booking confirmation email or text (605) 590-1066. Include your name, trip date, and reason — we'll get back to you within 24 hours with refund timing.
