Why we fish it
Bitter is what people are talking about when they say South Dakota perch fishing. Wide, shallow, and reliable — when you find a school, the floor of the shack fills up fast. We run the holes during mid-day chews and set tip-ups on the perimeter for incidental pike. Bitter is the right call for a group that wants a lot of action, not just a few big fish.
